Resolution
At a new area,Taihaku from the .hack GU games,is seen staring outward until an interference in the game interrupts him.He turns to look,and sees its Ovan smiling at him.He asks Ovan if he has met him before.Ovan says No,and Taihaku addresses himself along with being a member of Ikoro,Ovan says nothing back and just smirks.Switching to the cathedral,a flashback scene of when Tri-Edge attacked Shino along with Haseo witnessing it,and being helpless to save her is shown.Haseo is standing infront of the alter,staring at the chain he was attacking from the previous episode.His face expressing a lot of anger,and seems he cant hold in his hatred in much,but needs to let it out.Looking at the make of Tri-Edge,Sign,he asks himself,what it is.Once more,he attacks,attacking the alter with his twin blades,he then stops,while leaning against it and saying "Damn it...".

Back in town,Tabby overhears an event thats going on.Some are saying,its an event that once you go in,you cant come back,not even a reward is given either.Suddently,Kuhn walks by Tabby,she quickly gets up and grabs his hand as he is walking.With a surprised expression,Kuhn turns to look at her,in which he probably forgot her already.Tabby asks what the official event is about.He replies to her question with the answer of,the Painful Forest.She doesnt follow,Kuhn asks if she read the event announcement mail,and also adds on,if she wants to know more about it,some players are talking about it on the BBS.Letting go of him,Tabby looks down and says,she isnt sure if she should say "it wasnt there".Kuhn shows a slight smile,he mentions the time limit is one week,and that you have to do something in the core of the field.Tabby wants to know what that something is,Kuhn doesnt know either,and says for those who get to that point,will find out.She realizes that no one else knows at this point,Kuhn continues with saying the enemies are abnormally strong,and no one has cleared it yet.On the BBS,players are starting to say its impossible to be cleared.Tabby is in awe,Kuhn says she should do some research on her own,and says he has to go,he is getting ready to make a new guild.Tabby apologizes,and Kuhn takes his leave.Tabby speaks to herself,about Kuhn is opening a new guild.

Elsewhere in town,Phyllo is at the bridge,Haseo approaches him.Phyllo realizes he has come,Haseo wants to ask him something.He thinks Haseo wants to know about Ovan and Shino,but Haseo wants to know about Tri-Edge.Phyllo asks Haseo of what he wants to know,he says,he wants to meet him.He answers him by saying,you should know thats he's not the person you can meet just because you want to.Haseo demands to know what happened between him and Tri-Edge,because of the fact Tri-Edge appeared at a place without a Sign being there,unlike the ones in the Lost Grounds,he thinks there must be some connection.Haseo is begging to Phyllo,his only suggestion to Haseo is,to give up on Tri-Edge.Haseo wont give up,especially with Shino unconscious in reality.Phyllo realizes that,Haseo mentions that the hospital says they dont know the cause.With a shock expression,Phyllo asks if he really went there.Haseo's fist starts to shake his fist,saying that the hospital doesnt know the cause,and they cant even treat her.This is why,he must meet with Tri-Edge.Phyllo knows that,but still insists he gives up.Disappointed with Phyllo's response Haseo has nothing else to say,he turns and walks away.

Somewhere inside the game,Tri-Edge is in type of relaxed position,er..or maybe an odd position.It seems he is floating around in his sleep,until suddenly,his eye is open.Yata and Pai are in the monitoring room,Pai asks Yata who should Saburou approach since Haseo and Tabby are shown on the monitors.Yata turns to look at Pai,and asks her who is the real thing. Saying that they are both newbies who joined at the same time.Pai says their names,while adding on that neither of their data shows any sign that might explain the reason Ovan chose them.Yata asks if Pai noticed anything when they were in TaN.She says during that time,if she did... Yata interrupts her saying,he knows she's reported everything to him,even during that time,her contribution was unquestionable.Pai suggests to let Tabby have contact with an unknown entity,but Haseo is also at that location.Yata say to forget it,and let Haseo be for a while longer.He continues that,if Haseo approaches Tri-Edge by himself,it would result in an interesting scenario,how to move the chess pieces is up to Pai.She says to leave it to her and walks away.

Haseo is out in a night field,the little animal character sees him,looks at the weird expression on his face,and runs off scared.He is looking for a Sign in that field,with no luck,Haseo is shown walking in town looking down,Saburou notices him walk by.Tabby is with Phyllo,and talks about the Painful Forest,which was started for he sake of defeating Tri-Edge.Phyllo wants to know more about it,Tabby heard that C.C. Corp will make a request to the player who can come out of that forest,sort of a screening session to find the player who can defeat Tri-Edge.It seems Haseo over heard her,and asks if she is serious.They both turn to look at him,they pause for a moment,until Phyllo speaks up.Saying there should be a boundary even if it's just nonsense.If they want to exterminate Tri-Edge,they can simply suspend his account or delete his character data.Tabby agrees,Phyllo adds on that the information is bogus and not to get too excited with things like that.Haseo takes his spot on the opposite side of Phyllo,he asks Phyllo to just tell him already.Tabby asks what he's talking about,Haseo tells her to stay quiet.She doesnt like how Haseo said that to her,and asks if thats how you talk to someone.Haseo answers her by saying,that its really none of her business.Tabby asks him how it isnt her business,she wants to help Shino too.Haseo asks her of what exactly can she do,thats its none of her business,and dont get too close to Shino.Tabby is looks down by that comment,Phyllo speaks up saying,not to say that.He turns to look at Haseo,says to follow him,they both follow him.

Back at the night field,they are the same spot where Phyllo was attacked by Tri-Edge.Haseo mentions that Phyllo was here last time,and still believes,there is something about this place after all.He says to him,the present you cant do anything even if you do find Tri-Edge,and that he's not a PC you can reason with.Haseo doesnt understand,Phyllo adds on that,Tri-Edge's not the kind of character,the kind that you would feel he would come at you without a word. Haseo says that Phyllo ran away from him.Phyllo thinks that there isnt anyone who can defeat that PC.Haseo responds with,how does Phyllo know that without trying.Phyllo quickly turns around at him,yelling at him,asking if he is stupid.Haseo just stares at him,not showing any change of expression,he says if he doesnt try.. Phyllo interrupts him saying,if he fails while trying, he wouild become an unreturner,there is too much of a risk.Haseo adds on that Phyllo just stood there and let him go.He says he wont let Haseo have the chance to choose,they both glare at each other.Tabby shouts at them to stop fighting.In the background,where there is a castle,Saburou is watching them,he says that if they wanna do it,just do it already.Phyllo summons his staff, Haseo gets his twin blades ready,Phyllo comes at him first,and pushes him back with one swing of his staff.Haseo has fallen back due to the swing,Phyllo points his staff at him before he can even get back up.Phyllo asks him of how will Haseo fight Tri-Edge,if he cant even stand up to an attack of a Harvest.Haseo is speechless,Phyllo asks if he is convinced.He calls him a bastard,a sudden light appears and there is a fire wall infront of Haseo.Haseo yells at him,Phyllo says he may be the only one who knows the truth right now and knows Tri-Edge's strength.Haseo doesnt care,Phyllo asks if he wants to save Shino.With a smirk,Haseo says to not regret this.Angered by that comment,Phyllo says for him to watch his mouth,and calls him a brat.Haseo attacks with his twin blade,Phyllo blocks the attack with his staff,holding Haseo back.Phyllo yells if thats all he's got.Haseo shouts at him to shut up.Pulling back,and letting out a chuckle,Phyllo shows a smirk.Haseo is shocked,why is he laughing at him? Phyllo understands how he feels,and that Shino's incident wasnt his fault.Haseo disagrees,Phyllo says for him to stop saying that he did.Calling him a stubborn kid,Haseo just doesnt understand anything.Haseo gets enraged once more striking at him,but again Phyllo blocks his attacks.Over and over,the only thing Tabby can do is just watch the two fighting.She is staring to show tears in her eyes,saying for them both to stop it.

It seems someone else was watching as well,it was Yata.He calls Phyllo the survivor,and wants to know the connection he has with Ovan.with another spell thrown at Haseo,Haseo stands there in defeat,slowing going to the ground.Phyllo asks if he understands now,and that the same thing would happen if he did find Tri-Edge.Haseo says he will never lose,even if he dies,he will take down Tri-Edge.Upset by that response,Phyllo puts away his weapon,and gets closer to Haseo,grabbing his collar and pulling him in.He doesnt want Haseo to talk about dying.Haseo turns away from his face,thinking of the time he said to Shino that he will do something about it.He insists on doing something.Phyllo asks about that something,in the present,he can do nothing.Haseo pulls his hand away and stands up,glaring at him.Phyllo says for him to cool his head,Haseo's expression changes,Tabby approaches him,Phyllo sees her and asks why she came.Tabby insists that Haseo has had enough,and to let Haseo do whatever he wants.Haseo turns to look at her,saying its none of her business.She believes Haseo can do it,but Phyllo disagrees,adding on that if he cant win how can Haseo do it? Tabby says its not good to solve problems with violence,Phyllo comments that there are people who prefer that.Haseo finally speaks and says,forget it.He walks away from Tabby,returning his attention to Phyllo,he believes he understands what Phyllo is thinking.Which is Haseo to get stronger.In the distance,Suburou lets out a sigh,saying he isnt sure if they get along or dont get along.

Back at town,Tabby and Phyllo are on the bridge,she apologizes for earlier.Phyllo asks what she is apologizing for,she was talking about interrupting them.He realizes she did it because she thought it was the right thing to do.Tabby just couldnt watch anymore,Phyllo just wishes for Haseo to change that "I-have-to-do-everything-myself" attitude.Tabby doesnt respond,but soon apologizes,she was spacing out and didnt catch what he just said.Phyllo says its alright.Meanwhile,Haseo is off killing monsters,while showing an expression of pleasure.He stops after killing a monster,saying this isnt it.Two players walk by him saying,they want to leave already and that this place is hard for them,and mention that this is nothing compared to the Painful Forest.The place where strong monsters appear at the beginning.One says that it sounds bad,the other says it isnt.He has heard if you manage to clear it,you'll become really strong,but its just a rumor.The other asks where he heard that,Haseo realizes he will go there.

Suburou approaches Tabby,asking her how is he.Tabby asks who she is,Saburou answers that he is setting his PC data to the public,adding on that this place is nice and for people surveying.Tabby says Saburou's name,and asks if she is really a girl.Sabu asys she is,and asks why.She thought the name "Saburou" was a little strange,Sabu thinks its not nice to be stereotypical.Tabby doesnt follow,Sabu mentions how there are guys who are called "Kaoru-chan" or "Hiromi-chan".She wonders if there is a guy called "Hanako-chan",Sabu says her great grandfather was called Hanako,Tabby is surprised.Sabu pauses for a moment,and says she is kidding.Tabby expresses a nervous little laugh.She looks off to the side,saying Haseo's name,and is waiting for him.Sabu takes a seat next to her,Tabby says its amazing,it feels like Haseo is answering everyone's expectation,Sabu asks about her.Tabby answers by saying she is completely useless,Sabu comments if she says she is useless,would Tabby really become useless.And things will be OK,if you think they are gonna be alright.Along with a metaphor about leaving curry for days.Tabby shows an interested expression,but doesnt get what Sabu just said.Meanwhile,the scene changes to the entrance of the Painful Forest,a few players are standing there,while Taihaku has been in that place for quite some time now,and probably already at the end.With one last strike to a big dragon,it is defeated and looks around,realizing no one else is here but him.

Back in town,Phyllo is there on the bridge,a female voice calls to him.Phyllo turns to look at her,and asks who she is.It is Pai,and she asks if she may have a moment with him.Phyllo isnt really comfortable about this.Returning to Painful Forest,Haseo is there now,seeing all the players that were at the entrance earlier,are all now dead,lying there in his path.He shows a wicked smile,saying he just has to get stronger.He continues to walk ahead.
