Starting off at night area,3 pkers have just killed a player.Haseo approaches them asking if they have seen Tri-Edge.They turn out to look at him,he asks them again the same question.One of them answers him saying he doesnt know,and with that,Haseo kills him with one strike of his scythe.Back in town,Touta is with Phyllo,he says to Touta it is meaningless to come here.Touta responds that even if it is,its up to him,Phyllo understands.Tabby interrupts Phyllo,Touta says Hello to her,she answers him back.She informs Phyllo about Tri-Edge,it seems he has disappeared.Touta repeats the word "disappeared",Tabby says that he has gone missing,she stares at Touta and calls him a newbie.Touta doesnt mind,but he knows about Tri-Edge.Tabby asks if his account was suspended.Phyllo comments if he had an account to begin with.Touta says the word "missing",Phyllo asks if he is going to leave.He says he has to go take care of something,and will come back.Phyllo says he doesnt have to.Touta smiles and takes his leave.Tabby wonders what Shino would do at a time like this.

Yata and Pai are in the monitoring room,Yata believes Haseo possesses a factor,and wonders what becomes of the person after his dormant factor awakens.Pai suggests testing him out,Yata asks what she meant.She tells him of the time she first awoke,she faced a scene that she couldnt imagine.A scene is shown Pai walking in a temple dungeon,ahead of her is a group of white demons,they turn to look at her and approach her.She didnt want to accept them,but suddenly felt something burst.Overflowing with an uncontrollable sensation,when she tried to control it,she felt the urge to scream.She couldnt explain much else,at that moment,she felt as if the real her was synchronized and linked with Pai.After that scene ends,she tells Yata that Haseo is in an unstable state,and all they have to do is test him.Yata leaves it to her.

Haseo is out in a day field this time with 2 other players,one of them says he doesnt know.They also add,if he wants to go crazy,go ahead,but dont get them involved.Haseo wants them to tell him who might know.The other player asks if its something like a city folklore.While the other agrees with him,saying its impossible to lose consciousness after getting PKed.Haseo starts to walk over to them,they both are getting ready to attack,while saying he is a moron to believe it.The first one strikes,but misses Haseo in return,attacks him with one swing and he is out.After seeing his partner taken out like that,he starts to panic swinging his sword wildly,Haseo takes him out like it was nothing.In the distance,Seisaku notices Haseo,the other player next to him recognizes him too.He suggests its better not to go near him.Haseo shows a smile while looking down at the two he just PKed.

Back in town,Tabby tells Phyllo about the rumors are saying Haseo has gone crazy.Phyllo comments rumors are just rumors,Tabby realizes that but..Phyllo adds on that if they dont believe in Haseo,who will?Tabby asks Phyllo if he believes in Haseo.He just says,he wonders.She asks what he meant by that. He uses an example of,if someone tries to force open a shellfish,it'll shut itself close instead.If someone is too aggressive,they will break the shellfish.Tabby says that Haseo isnt a shellfish,you cant talk to a shellfish,but if he doesnt listen,then he is the same.Phyllo comments,but if you are not willing to risk yourself,nothing will happen.Tabby understands,and says he is right.She decides to go find Haseo.Touta is back at the merchant's place,asking if they came up with any info.It seems they havent,but they did come across a strange rumor.A person saw someone fought with Tri-Edge in a Lost Ground,but was defeated.Touta asks if this is true,Piro says its just a rumor.The other suggests it'd be easier to use TaN's network.Touta says not to,but to find evidence instead.If they can find the witness,perhaps... the two merchants are on it.Tabby is waiting at a Chaos Gate,where Haseo arrives.She says he is looking well,Haseo turns away from her,she speaks up again before he teleports,and offers him a gift.He says he doesnt need it,Tabby understands,and notices he is much stronger.Haseo comments she is an eyesore and takes his leave.Tabby realizes its not that simple,but she already knew it.

Inside a temple dungeon,Saburo has just finished off a monster.Pai enters the area she is at,didnt think she would see her here.Sabu says she wanted to see her repenting face.Pai doesnt follow,and then adds on that she has been observing Haseo,who she entrusted to Sabu.She adds on that Tabby is no longer necessary,they know she is not it.Sabu asks if there is something special about those two.Pai says she doesnt need to answer that,since it doesnt look like Sabu will co-operate with them anyways.She also adds that she wants to use Sabu's PC body,and would like her to return it to Pai.Sabu asks about the word "use".Pai wants to test something on Haseo,with Sabu's PC.Sabu asks about the word "test",and if this PC considered "litmus paper" for Haseo.She isnt sure how they want to use it,but cant return it to you any time soon.She worked them up until now,even if they wont let her have this...Pai says the time limit is one week,she wont wait any longer.

Back in town,Tabby is with Seisaku.She is talking about Haseo,and how she is a bother to him when she is with him,even when he wouldnt accept her gift.But she wish there was something else she can help him with.Seisaku comments about Haseo,even though she is worried about him.Tabby says Haseo is her friend,she doesnt want to see their relationship worsens.She believes Shino wouldnt want that.Back to Sabu,she speaks about something that can be tested in this world,something they wanted to do.She remembers that time when she rejoine with Haseo back in Painful forest,asking if he had quit,but he said he never did.After the flashback is over,she thinks it will be interesting.Getting up,another player walks in,wondering what she is doing.He doesnt follow Sabu when she says the word,"...test".She comments,that she is sure its something like this.In one quick swing,that player is taken down.She repeats from what she said earlier,something that can be test in this world,something to test on Haseo.She believes its to determind the amount of strength he has obtained.

Once again in town,Touta approaches Phyllo asks if he would like to exchange information.Phyllo says he isnt a dopester.Touta asks if he will care,and brings up the rumor about another player who fought with Tri-Edge.He looks at Phyllo,and asks how he survived.At a night field,Haseo is standing there.Sabu comes along and greets him,he notices that he has changed too much,and asks if that is suppose to be the reward for clearing the event.Haseo turns to face him,and asks what he knows about Tri-Edge.Sabu says for him not to be anxious and asks if he is glad he took her member address.He says he doesnt have time. Sabu comments no matter how anxious you are,the unreturners wont come back.Haseo clenches his fist,and says for him to spit out what she knows.Another comment from Sabu,about this must be what it means to cling to a straw.Haseo yells he doesnt have time for games.Sabu says it is a game though.Thinking of the scene where Shino's data was eroding away,he says to Sabu,its not just a game.Yata and Pai watching them,Yata says Pai went to convince Sabu,because Pai thought it would go well.Pai says it feels like he is making fun of her.Yata says this isnt like her,Pai apologizes.Haseo says for Sabu to hurry up and spit it out.Sabu says he has changed,he was a lot more straightforward before.Haseo says he still is,Sabu disagrees,and that he has made a 360 degrees turn.Who is trying to be straightforward,but is actually being ambiguous.Sabu doesnt want other people to take him,and gets her weapon ready.Haseo asks if she wants to do it.Sabu asks if he wants the information,Haseo says for her not to regret it.Sabu lunges at him and attacks,Haseo moves out of the way,and does his own attack,but Sabu jumps out of the way.Haseo is asking why,she says,its for his sake.Using an example,its like leaving her favorite snack for last.Sabu tries another attempt at attacking him,while also using balls of energy at him,which leaves him there still standing.She comments as she would expect from someone who has killed numerous PKers.The only thing he possesses,she wants him to show her.She lunges at him,but Haseo raises his hand and catches her weapon,asking if this is it.Crushing the weapon with his hand,it breaks,he tosses it,and then punches Sabu in the stomach.Pai is shocked,Yata suggests he needs a stronger tester.Pai apologizes,Yata says its ok,a normal player wouldnt be his match.He suggets to give him that unknown phenomenon a try.Pai thinks its not yet necessary to use that,its too much of a risk.If the PC body disappears,it will be troublesome to find another one.

In town,Touta is with Phyllo,Phyllo comments about his enemies increasing.Touta ask if he is talking about Haseo's.He says Haseo is al he is thinking about,and thinks he should give up as soon as possible.Touta says that its favoritism.Phyllo says he doesnt remember ever lying about it.Phyllo shows a look of shock when he sees Haseo,Touta is speechless as well.Haseo remembers the time Ovan said he has potential.He asks Phyllo what is potential.Phyllo asks if someone told him that.Haseo asks of what is that something he possess.Phyllo says for him to calm down,and asks what happened.Haseo only asks about where is Tri-Edge.Phyllo says he isnt here anymore,and to forget about him.Haseo yells about how can he forget.Phyllo comments even if he yells,it will change the fact that he's gone.Haseo says nothing,he turns and walks away. Other players stare at him as he keeps walking,Touta is starting to follow him.Taihaku is there with Phyllo,saying he met that player in the forest.Phyllo asks if he meant Haseo.Tai asks what happened to his body.Phyllo has no clue,Tai asks if he cleared the event.Phyllo asks if he was rewarded that sword as well.Tai remembers that time he asked him,whether he went through hardship to obtain that sword.Phyllo asks if he was wrong,Tai says he might,or might not,but doesnt care.Obtaining strength quickly with a lawful mean,thats what he thought the Painful forest was.He also adds,that Haseo is probably the only one who has cleared it.But if that was the reward for clearing it,he is glad he didnt clear it.Touta is inside the cathedral with Haseo and says how he has changed,he also recognizes the Sign,and realizes this is the place.Touta admits he has changed,but Haseo's change really surprised him.Haseo draws out his weapon,turns to look at him and asks about Tri-Edge.Touta raises his hands in the air with no weapon at hand,he says its not nice to use violence when you are asking someone for information.He says he will collect the information for him.Haseo asks who he is.Touta doesnt give him the right answer,but says that Haseo will be buying information from him.He also adds,trust is number one when doing business and to believe in him.Haseo is speechless,Touta then says that usual phrase of his,thanks for coming.Thats when Haseo realizes who he is,and says the name "Tawaraya".
