Defeat
At beginning of the episode,a player appears from the Chaos Gate,who looks seriously injured and in total shock.She falls to the floor on her knees,other players around her ask if she is ok,she only says the name "Tri-Edge" and logs off.Iita and Piros are over hearing the talk about the female player,who is a blue brandish.Piros decides to go look up information at the harbor. Yata and Pai are watching footage of the female player from earlier,Pai says it has to be her,but she is just a regular player.Yata sees this as her an ordinary player who got herself involved in this incident,mainly Tri-Edge.Pai asks Yata what they should do,Yata only informs her to,think like Ovan,and move like Ovan.

Touta is at the bridge where Phyllo is always at,but it seems he isnt there.Tabby approaches him,she is surprised that Phyllo isnt there either,she says it feels weird without him being there.She asks Touta if she could talk to him,he allows her.Tabby is thinking how Shino would think,wondering if there is anything she can do.She knows she can never be like Shino no matter what and just wants to do whatever she can.Touta asks what she will do,she isnt sure what she should do,thats why she came to talk to Phyllo.Touta suggests for her to become a guild master.There are tasks that cant be done by individuals,but only by organizations.He adds on to create a guild,and he will tell her what to do from there.Elsewhere in a field area,the female player is saying that the players infront of her are no match for her.One of them says of how she can be so sure if they havent even fought.Splitting right in between the players,the tip of a black weapon goes straight for the female in a slow manner.The female player gives a stern look,while the others are surprised,this weapon belongs to Haseo.It seems she knows about Tri-Edge,and thats why Haseo is there.Yata and Pai are watching this as well,Yata sees this as an unexpected development. Haseo holds up his weapon and it changes to the chain saw blade,the female says to him,that settling things with force wont make it cheaper.Haseo disagrees,using force is how he remains as himself.She wants to know what he means by that,he means,she is all talk,and asks if it was for glamour.She asks him if he is talking about her occuptation as being a beat-upee.Haseo asks how much,she says if he is going to be a repeater,the first time is on her.

Back to Tabby,she has a created a guild but doesnt know what to do.Seisaku suggests if she thinks its a good idea if she thinks through this.He asks what does she want to do.She answers him with wanting to help Haseo."Help?" he asks her.She wants to help recover,not just him but even those who were killed by Haseo.Seisaku suggests that recovery is not the job of a grappler,Tabby thinks if you have a lot of items..but Sei says no matter how much money you have,it wont be enough.She agrees with him,she was only answering his question as to what she wanted to do.He realizes she does have a point there,but he meant to ask,what she should do with that in hand.She still doesnt know,Sei offers to help her.He will do anything he can,and wants all to do our best.Back to Haseo,it seems Haseo is having trouble landing a blow on this player,she is smiling everytime he misses her.She finally says,thats it,its been a minute.Haseo stops attacking her and puts his weapon away,Yata and Pai are still watching.Pai seems to have found something in that female player's log.A place that has been shown before is on the screen,its Buruna Gidion.Yata asks Pai to get to the point,she says for him to please wait a moment,there is one more thing.He sees the log of the fight between Tri-Edge and Ovan.Pai says,"at the same place,at the same time".Which means,she witnessed the fight between Tri-Edge and Ovan.Yata finds it interesting but its in the past,he asks her what she should do in this situation.She quotes what he told her earlier,"Think like Ovan,and move like Ovan".

Piro is welcomed back by Iita,he says "beat-upee".the survivor,in which the female player,is named Midori and is a beat-upee.Iita asks what a beat-upee is,Piros says its her job as "if you think you can beat me,try and beat me".It also seems she has put a bounty on herself,to fight with other PKers.Saying if anyone beats her,she will give that person her bounty.Piros says its unthinkable that her business method is actually successful.Iita asks about it being a sucess,Piros is going by what he has heard.Pai approaches their shop,they both greet her.She is asking for Touta,Piros asks if she knows him.She says she kind of does,she is here to provide some information.Piros isnt looking to buy any info.Pai isnt here to sell info,she did say "provide" info.Piros cant accept it,because nothing comes for free.Pai says she isnt providing it for him,and asks him,shouldnt he let Touta decide that. Piros understands,Pai asks if they want to hear it or not.In an alley somewhere,Saburo is waiting for someone,its Pai.He smiles when she sees her,Pai isnt too happy.Sabu is returning this PC body and is asking what to do,or of just logging out.Pai is surprised,Sabu ask her about that time Pai wanted to use it,so she is returning it to her.Pai asks what she is plotting.Sabu says nothing and uses a metaphor about a compact car she can call her own,is always better than a luxury car that may be taken away from her anytime.Pai finds it unusual that it was easy to understand this time,and still asks Sabu,what she is planning to do with her own compact car.Sabu gives her a hint,Haseo.She wants to keep her eyes on him a while longer.Pai says she doesnt need it,Sabu's PC is already useless to her,and can have it.Sabu doesnt understand,Pai tells her that she did say it was useless to her.But Sabu says she doesnt want it either.She uses another metaphor,even if you keep a expired bottle of milk,you'll never drink it.Even if it turns into cheese,that wouldnt be your original intention of keeping it...Pai is getting upset,she regrets everything she just said.Pai has had enough with Sabu's meaningless metaphors.She wants Sabu to keep her body and to never come near her again.Sabu asks if that is the condition for her freedom.Pai doesnt say and keeps walking away,Sabu comments she has the constraint of a child.

Touta approaches the shop and asks how's business.They just found out something important,its about the witness for Tri-Edge's fight.Touta is interested they found out about it.Iita adds that the witness also fought with Tri-Edge.Touta claims her as a witness and a survivor,he asks for her name.Piros says its Midori.Touta asks if she is still logged in,Piros says she is doing a strange business,since she calls her a beat-upee.Touta asks for the source of information,Piros says Pai,a person with pink pigtails and asks if he knows her, since she seems to know Touta.Iita suggests to thank her if he knows her,since she seemed to know what they were investigating.Touta says he will go take a walk.In another area,Haseo has just defeated a couple of players,he is wondering why Midori can find Tri-Edge,but he cant.Midori is at another area,Touta approaches her,recognizing her as Midori the beat-upee.Midori asks who he is.Touta introduces himself as an information trader.She understands he is doing business too,Touta wants to ask her something,he asks about Tri-Edge.She says,"this again".She brings up how others have been asking her about that.Touta comments she is popular,since she is a survivor and a witness,and asks her if he is wrong.Midori asks what he meant by that.He says she managed to escape from Tri-Edge,she understands that,but not the "witness" part he was talking about.Touta tells her,she should've witnessed a fight between Tri-Edge and another player.She starts to remember the scene of Ovan vs. Tri-Edge,she tells Touta he is correct.She has met Tri-Edge twice,maybe she should say she "Saw" him the first time,and asks if thats all Touta wanted.Touta asks who was the person who fought Tri-Edge.She doesnt know,she was watching from afar,Touta just wants the person's features.Another flashback to where Tri-Edge was about to Data Drain Ovan,but Ovan pulls off the lock from his arm,and lets black matter come into place.Midori doesnt remember,but it seems he was familiar to her.Touta asks about that player being a man.She adds on with the geography of that place,Buruna Gidion,that is everything she knows.Touta understands,he stands up and tosses her something shiny,probably money.She asks what it is,its Touta's gratitude for the information.She asks if he is stupid,she was answering to him out of her good will,she tosses the coin back.Touta says his appreciation for her good will is called gratitude.She doesnt need it,he suggests in exchange..he is sorry to disturb her.Yata and Pai have been watching,he asks Pai if this will make Haseo fight Midori once more.She thinks so,this time she will fight as the real Midori,not as the beat-upee Midori.Yata asks if she can do it,Pai says it wont hurt to try,and asks,wont Ovan think the same?

Touta approaches Tabby and Seisaku,asking if they are ready.He tells Seisaku to dump that character,for first impression and how compatibility is important. Sei is asking Touta,for him to remake his character.In which he says yes to,and asks of his class.Sei says its blade,Touta tells him to change it to Harvest. Tabby asks if she should change her's too,Touta tells her she created the guild,she cant change her character.Touta asks if they are planning to do it by only two of them,Tabby asks if that is bad.Touta asks the minimum number of people per party is...Tabby answers three,he tells him they are one person short.She asks about Phyllo being that other person.Touta asks if she is serious,Tabby realizes its impossible.Which its obvious,Touta tells her if Phyllo is willing to do it,he would've asked him to help Touta in the first place.Seisaku tells Tabby about a friend in reality who just started to play and will try to invite him,his name is Hideo.Tabby thinks Hideo is a serious name,and Sei will dump this character.Sei says its alright,Touta suggests to think of a slogan.A slogan to create their own image for others to talk about,he asks what the guild name is.Tabby tells him its,Meatball Brigade.Touta repeats the name,and asks if she meant on the paws of cats and dogs.Tabby says it is,and asks if its no good.Touta smiles and says she passed.Elsewhere,Haseo is at the cathedral,Touta warps in,he apologizes for being late.Haseo asks what he wants to tell him,Touta tells him a player defeated Tri-Edge at Buruna Gidion.Haseo says the word defeated,and asks if Tri-Edge is gone.Touta doubts it,Haseo runs up to him asking who did it,when and where did they do it.Touta doesnt know,the information provider doesnt remember,there is no where for him to investigate.Haseo asks for the information provider,its Midori,the beat-upee woman.Haseo calls her a bitch,Touta tells him she is a survivor and a witness,atleast thats what he's heard,it could be reverse.Its possible she managed to survive because she witnessed it,Haseo starts to walk away.Touta asks where he is going.He tells him about it being obvious,and leaves the cathedral.Touta comments about this being unavoidable.

Midori is at a night field,while Haseo comes charging at her from behind,he attacks her but Midori jumps out of the way.She asks what he wants this time,Haseo wants to know about Tri-Edge.She already told him what she said from before,Haseo asks her about seeing Tri-Edge being defeated.He wants her to remember the person who defeated Tri-Edge.She refuses,she doesnt want to remember.Haseo lets out a smirk,Midori says he reeks of death,she brings out her weapon,saying she hopes Haseo can take Tri-Edge's place.They both attack each other,to the point they are just about even with each other.Midori comments Haseo is good,very good.Haseo asks who she is.She tells him that she is a beat-upee.She is getting ready to run at him,Haseo changes to his twin blades,they both charge at each other.Haseo blocks her attack,while using his twin blade to avoid any other,she uses her leg to trip him back a little.Again,they both come charging towards each other.With final one slash,Haseo is defeated.Haseo lays there,while Midori walks away.She says Tri-Edge,was strong,and Haseo cant take his place,after all.Haseo tells her to shut up.Pai and Yata are not pleased either,Pai comments it didnt activate.Haseo still lies there saying,he cant even win against someone who ran away from Tri-Edge.Annoyed from this,he finally logs off.
