Truth
At the merchants place Piros asks about Haseo quitting,Iita says that rumor is going around,but she wonders what really happened.Piros doesnt know either,Iita comments that he is an information trader,Piros decides to look into it.Tabby goes to the spot where Phyllo is at,but he isnt there.He suddenly appears there,she asks if it was his dog and cat pulling the plug again.Phyllo says it wasnt them,and they arent there,he asks what she wants.Tabby says its about Haseo,he asks if he did something again.She tells him about the rumor that Haseo has quit,she believes that cant be true,its impossible for Haseo to quit.Phyllo thinks it is possible,it is a game and quitting is just a matter of time.But Tabby thinks Haseo will come back,she doesnt think anyone can save Shino but Haseo.Phyllo asks if thats what she really thinks,she says there is no other than Haseo,Phyllo asks about her.He suggests to not put all her faith in Haseo.Tabby understands and says he is right.

Touta and Saburou are in a field,Touta realizes that Sabu saw everything.Sabu felt like she almost got ran over by a car,but feels Ok,Touta isnt sure about that metaphor.Sabu asks if its not easy to understand,Touta asks her why she was there.She says it was by coincidence,Touta suggests to show each other their cards.Sabu says Haseo is being watched by the remnants of TaN,that all she is sure of,she also believes that Touta is one of the remnants of TaN too,the figurehead,Tawaraya.Touta knows as well,Saburou of the Secret Service.In the monitoring room,Yata asks Pai how its going,she says the data in the Lost Grounds is unstable,there is no reliable information as of now.Yata believes something will happen soon,its necessary to find out what did Ovan do at the cathedral,with Haseo being the key person.Pai tells him that Haseo has been initialized but isnt sure whether he will return or not.With that in mind,Yata suggests they should find the next qualifier,however,he will come for sure.Kuhn asks if he has become an unreturner,Pai asks who "he" is referring to,Kuhn was referring to Haseo.Pai doesnt think so,Kuhn asks the reason why she doesnt think he is,her answer is,Haseo carries the factor.Kuhn puts it into words that because of the power of the factor,he didnt become an unreturner,but instead returned to level one.Pai believes that is probably the case.Kuhn decides to step out for a while.

Back in town,Tabby is sitting next to a wooden crate,on the opposite side Seisaku sits down there.He tells her he couldnt leave her alone,Tabby knows that Hideo is working hard and he will be mad if Sei got involved with her.Sei confesses that he loves her,and he cant leave her alone.Tabby asks what he just said,Sei also adds that he was able to throw away his character because he wanted to be her strength.Tabby thanks him and is really happy.Sei suggest she forget about Haseo,she did her best,since Haseo is not even logging in.Tabby realizes she relied too much on Haseo,not just him but with Phyllo and everyone else.She wants to stop relying on others and running away,there is one thing she wants to do for now,and asks Sei if she can answer him after that.Sei understands,and he will always be waiting.Tabby thanks him.At the waterfall area,Phyllo warps in from the gate,ahead of him is where Ovan is standing.He asks if he made him wait,Ovan says he just got here.Phyllo approaches him,he says its been a while,Ovan agrees.Phyllo wants to ask him something,Ovan says there is only a few things he can answer.Phyllo mentions Haseo hasnt logged in,he's heard what happened between him and Tri-Edge,he also believes it may be better for him this way.Ovan believes he will definately return,Phyllo asks what Ovan wants to make Haseo do.He says,"Betrayal is a sin" but...Phyllo comments it sure is hard to talk to him,he has to understand not only Ovan's words but also the meanings behind them,he then asks what he did.Phyllo says its alright,and will take it to his grave.

Elsewhere,Tabby is inside a dungeon,probably the same place where Shino gave her first weapon.She realizes about an unreturner,and wonders how she can help Shino.Sei steps in and wondered if she would be here,he tells her about the new guild and its called the Healing Squad.He also mentions a person named Tadashi, who Hideo met here...Tabby interrupts him saying he doesnt have to report it to her.She also adds on this is not something she should say to someone who came all the way here to find her,and apologizes.Sei is ok with that,Tabby thought Hideo would become the guild master,Sei tells her Hideo wants to keep on moving, and doing it so that Sei would feel he can quit anytime he wants.Tabby wants to ask him about that.Back to Ovan and Phyllo,Ovan is about to say something but a flashback scene is shown.He appears inside the cathedral,he isnt sure why he was transported here,looking to the case on his arm,he also thinks,he was saved by him.The case starts to make a loud noise,as if it wants to come out,just then the doors open,and its Shino,she calls out his name and starts to run to him.But suddenly,he blanks out and the mark of Tri-Edge is shown,Ovan yells while Shino's voice echos his name,her face with tears and a happy expression,forever implanted into his mind.Phyllo says thats enough,Ovan says its the truth,Phyllo asks why,Ovan wont answer him,Phyllo says his name.Instead Ovan says his,Ovan's problem,is the same type of problem as the one Phyllo is having.

Back in town,Phyllo is there in his usual spot,Touta approaches him and greets him.But Phyllo doesnt respond,Touta inches closer to him and asks if he if away.Phyllo comes to and realizes its him,Touta asks if something happened, Phyllo says there isnt,Touta comments he is acting strange recently.Phyllo says its his imagination,Touta tells him he met the person who witnessed Haseo's disappearance,it seems Tri-Edge killed him.Phyllo knows that,and told him it's dangerous.Touta tells him there is no rumor about another unreturner,only his character was killed,Phyllo is content as long as he's safe in reality,its a game because there is reality.Touta believes that is true,but to Haseo, this is not a game.Its the same as reality,maybe its even more meaningful to him than that,andd thinks Phyllo is worried about Haseo.Phyllo asks when he is going aboard,Touta says thats unusual for him to ask about his real life, Phyllo says its good to hear it occasionally.He tells Phyllo not for a good while,and asks why he asked him.Phyllo has a favor he wants to ask him.In the merchants shop,Gasperd and Silabus are there,Silabus is surprised they have these animal figures here.Gasperd is really interested,Kuhn inches his head in a bit to where Gaspred notices him,he wanted to see him.Kuhn asks if he may have a moment with them.They go off to another area in town,Kuhn says this may be wrong to ask this,but there is something he wants them to do for him.They ask what it is,Gasperd thinks if its something Kuhn is asking,they will hear it no matter what.Kuhn tells them its about Haseo,Silabus asks if he meant Haseo the Terror of Death.Kuhn says thats right,Silabus asks what this is about.He believes its just a possibility,and thinks he will be in some trouble the next time he logs in.Gasperd asks about the Terror of Death,being in trouble.Kuhn tells them,if they find him,he wants them to help him out,from what he has heard,he is always alone.Silabus believes that is impossible,Gasperd agrees with him since its the Terror of Death.Kuhn gets a message,he is being called.Silabus understands,if they see him they will talk to him.Kuhn is counting on them,Gaspred says to leave it to them.

Back to Touta and Phyllo,Touta understands,but asks why him.Phyllo asks is it bad if its him.Touta didnt mean it like that,its too much responsibility,Phyllo says its fine as long as he understands its a lot of responsibility,he cant leave it to someone who doesnt understand that.Touta understands,and will definitely deliver it.In the area of where the Painful Forest event took place,Tabby warps there from the Chaos Gate,up ahead of her is Saburou,she quickly turns away.Sabu asks why she is running away,Tabby says it was just by coincidence.Sabu doesnt buy that,and starts to use another metaphor,"You might go to the beach in the winter by coincidence,but you dont go to the amusement park like that,right?"Tabby once again,doesnt follow.Sabu believes this is the place where Haseo stopped being Haseo.Tabby says Haseo is Haseo,but Sabu comments if you can call someone who has a different mind and appearance Haseo,then she is right,Tabby asks why she came here.Sabu tells her,to visit a grave,Tabby doesnt follow,its just as Sabu said.Tabbys says she might have met Haseo,and couldnt believe that Shino has become an unreturner and wanted to do some investigation on her own,she thinks she found Shino.Sabu asks what she meant by,how she met Haseo.She tells her,she has heard of a high school student who comes to visit a girl almost everyday,she passed right by him.Sabu asks her if she thinks thats Haseo.Tabby believes so,Sabu understands,and comments that Haseo is thinking about Shino not only in the game,but also in reality.Tabby wonders what she can do,Sabu asks if she came here just to think about that.Which its true,Sabu asks when was she that smart,she comments that Tabby isnt the type who should think too much.If she wants to worry,worry about only one thing,and to just think about the most important thing,if you juggle more things than you can handle,you wont find any answer.Tabby understands,Sabu says she is best at bystanding,and asks Tabby if she has a lot of things to do.Tabby believes she kind of knows How she wants to do it,Sabu says she will be watching over her.Tabby smiles and says she is right.

Kuhn walks into the monitoring room,and apologizes for being late.He asks if something happened,Pai wants to show him something,about why Ovan is someone he should look out for,and says its more convincing with pictures than words.Pai shows him of the scene recorded when Ovan's lock was removed and the case exploded.In which Pai and Yata had no control over the time,they tried to control Ovan again,but then he disappeared from their grasp.Kuhn asks what they did to that player,Pai tells him he was special,but really something heterogeneous,they cant allow a player who contains unreadable data to be in the wild.Kuhn asks what happened to Ovan,Pai tells him he escaped,Kuhn asks how.She tells him just as he saw,the method is unknown.

At the cathedral,Phyllo is standing there instead of floating,infront of the alter,from behind him Touta approaches him.Phyllo turns to look at him and asks if he is Touta.Touta is in total shock,its seems its not Phyllo,again he asks if he is Touta,he says he is.He was asked to come here,if he came here.. Touta interrupts him and says he knows.He tries to speak,but Touta says its alright.The player understands,Touta thanks him for coming,the player says,you're welcome. Touta watches as he goes,and tells him that he can force shutdown the game.The player stops,and says he is right,and will do that.Back at the waterfall area,Tabby apologizes to Seisaku that she cant accept his feelings.She was really happy,but after all,Haseo is trying his best on his own,Shino tried to support the Twilight Brigade in Ovan's place too,Tabby believes she should try her best by herself.Seisaku believes there are only a limited number of things she can do on her own,even so Tabby still wants to face thing by herself.She will do her best and tells Sei to do his best in the new guild.Saying good bye,she walks away from him and warps out from the Chaos Gate.Back in town,someone's eyes are looking at the crowd infront of him,its Haseo.He looks down and notices he is back to his twin blade form,the very form he started from the beginning.He looks down and says this world is full of human interactions,walks over to the exit and leaves.
