The protagonist of this story,he has a rough experience in The World and it continues to get even more harder when his friends leave him in the dark,allowing him to search for answers to their disappearance.Only one clue is enough to keep him going to find the answers he is looking for,and that is to find Tri Edge.Eventually,he encounters him,but it seems he is about to face an even bigger danger than he has ever imagined.

Atoli
Title:The Mirage of Deceit
Class:Harvest
Considered to be the protagonist of G.U.,Atoli starts out with not having that much experience in The World.She makes friends with Sakaki,who invites her into his guild,"Tsuki no Ki"[Moon Tree].For a certain reason,she is interested in Haseo and wants to know him better or be his friend,but Haseo doesn't really enjoy her company,or maybe it's just how she acts?

Title:The Propagation
Class:Steam Gunner
A player with experience in games,having a very strong personality,cheerful,and being a flirt with the women,he also carries a goal of living in peace within The World.He was once part of the "Canard" guild,but left on his own will.Him and Pai are part of the Raven guild,and they are also helping Haseo with the sightings of AIDA and trying to track down Tri-Edge.Not only does he worry about Haseo,but also Silabus and Gasperd.

Yata
Title:The Prophet
Class:Dance Macabre
The leader of Raven,he is also an admin.He invites Haseo to help him to investigate AIDA,along with the certain power that is locked up inside Haseo.Haseo only agrees to help with Yata,because he is the only source to finding Tri-Edge.In truth,Yata has monitored Haseo for a very long while[referring to Roots with this].

Sakubo
Title:The Machinator
Class:Warlock
This Player Character is controlled by two different people,twins actually.A brother and sister,their personalities differ from each other.Bo is the very shy,quiet type,but really cares for his sister.His sister,Saku,however is very rude,devious and over obessessed with Endrance,she will do whatever it takes to make Endrance happy,or really just so Endrance can recognize her.

Endrance
Title:The Temptress
Class:Blade
The lead champion of the arena games,Endrance is on a winning streak,not to mention has a fan base too.He considers to be the strongest,and unbeatable. Other players have tried to take him but failed,a few believe he is probably cheating.He is also seen with a cat sitting on his shoulder,but only Haseo and a few others can see "her".

Pai
Title:The Avenger
Class:Grappler
For having a beautiful body and face,she isn't just some regular model for viewing pleasure as some would seem,but she is quite intelligent as well.With the use of her of her fists and her mouth to do the talking,she comes off as a good fighter.

Ovan
Title:The Rebirth
Class:Steam Gunner
Ovan is the one who saved Haseo from PKers,and influenced him to continue playing in The World afterwards.A mysterious character,with unknown intentions,and possibly holding secrets from others,especially from Haseo.The one thing that strikes everyone's interest about him is not his personality,but his sealed up left arm,a type of device that is not seen on other players.Ovan tends to make appearances in The World,every now and then,always watching Haseo.He is obviously plotting something,and it involves Haseo.
