.hack//Roots takes place several months before .hack//G.U.Through out this anime,we get an idea of how Haseo was when he first starts playing The World.And in the end,we see how he ends up to become who he is now in G.U. .We also see how he interacts with Shino and Ovan,along with the Twilight Brigade,the guild that Haseo is in.He will also encounter new players along the way,and most importantly,learn to expand his personality instead of being an outsider that he is in the real world.
