://Trilogy>>Summary:
Instead of typing out a whole summary as what I've done with Roots and the GU games,I figured it would be pretty pointless to redo all of it when, from my point of view, its just repeating what's been said and done.
I will only point out the differences or additions that were shown in Trilogy.
After Haseo is data drained in the beginning, before he goes unconscious for a bit,he sees a tall figure that was standing behind him,and all you can make out is those two "rounded, large eyes".For those who arent
familiar with this,or you can't figure out who that figure is[but really its not that Hard to see who it is],as mentioned in the reference guides about .hack//G.U...there was an explanation as to why
Tri-Edge data-drained Haseo. They say Tri-Edge was really aiming for Ovan, but Haseo just so happens to have gotten in the way...or Tri-Edge's aiming is just that bad.
I mean that seems more reasonable,he's only looking with one eye [/sarcasm]
They pretty much skip a few things here and there, sticking to the important events. The days of being called a newbie by Silabus and Gasperd is out,Haseo goes straight to the arena battles
after being told by G.U. about Tri-Edge and Shino. However,he loses the battle to YowKow[Alkaid]which we're all used to the winning outcome.Keep in mind,he still cant summon Skeith either...
Afterwards,Atoli wants to spend more time with him,but he is in no mood for that, and Atoli just...annoys him by following him around.Eventually,Atoli gets to that speech of her's how she loves The
World and all that junk, which of course angers Haseo, and tells its just a game and etc.He seems more aggressive about it
than he was in the games, literally getting in her face about how stupid she is to think that way.
Afterwards, the scene changes when Ovan talks to Atoli.Instead Ovan ends up telling her where Tri-Edge is,we jump to one of the white rooms where she is infront of the lockers, trying to open it,thats where Haseo,Kuhn and Pai come in.After confessing her feelings and all that,Tri-Edge finally steps in.Once Tri-Edge is destroyed,Atoli is attacked by AIDA,but this time...she doesnt
wake up,back at Raven's guild,Haseo tries to wake her up but its no use.So instead Yata and Pai help him out by getting Haseo to try and wake her up,which you could say they are trying to do a subconscious dive into her mind....very cliche I know, but I'm sure we've seen the "dive into heart/mind" concept so many times. This makes Haseo and Atoli teleport somewhere else.Which of course leads to familiar scene from the games where Atoli is haunted by her memores of her IRL experience, instead of being in the rooms or places in the game,Haseo is inside of Atoli's mind or heart...whatever it is,the place where Haseo hear the voices that haunt Atoli,he eventually ends up in the classroom with Atoli there.
Meanwhile,Kuhn and Pai find the two at the Lake, where Haseo is still holding onto Atoli, and inside her mind.Ovan makes a visit there as well. For those who are familiar with the G.U. manga, this scene between Haseo and Atoli is pretty much that, she becomes a monster and tries to kill Haseo, over the lonelyness she has felt, but of course Haseo triumps in the end and eases the pain inside of Atoli's heart breaking her free from AIDA's grasp.....for once Sakaki isnt even here to annoy the hell out of us with his world domination crap. For a while they are hugging each other, and there is talk between the two but nothing is heard...in the end, they both end up saying,"I'm here."[or the usual
phrase "I'm right here".]
This time they both wake up and we are introduced to the scene where Ovan reveals what is really locked up inside his arm,he also took out
Kuhn and Pai,their data crumbles and fades away.Unleashing the case around his arm,Haseo and Atoli are shocked to see an AIDA arm,Ovan attacks
but Atoli jumps infront of Haseo to take the hit....she literally gets cut in half by Ovan's attack, and her data crumbles and fades away.
Upset and burning with rage...Haseo brings about the revised 3rd form,or I guess we could call it evil, corrupted side of Haseo. He goes after
Ovan, giving everything he has but ends up being defeated by Ovan, and ends up finishing the job by using one last powerful shot, setting Haseo on
fire.It looks like the end for him,as he is still burning away...then he hears a voice, its Atoli's calling his name.It seems this time were inside
of Haseo's mind now,he is literally being chained down,Atoli comes to help him out, while she is transparent, taking on the form of a ghost from what it
seems, saying she will always be there for him. After calming down the raging beast,Haseo is back to his senses, and they both take off.
We jump to the famous Xth form and the fight continues,as the Avatar battle steps in..finally Haseo delivers one final blow to Ovan, which of course
damages his PC,which is the only way to save Aina. With that, the lost souls, including Aina are brought back.Haseo sees Aina,Kuhn and Pai..and last,Atoli come back, but he is upset Ovan went and sacrificed himself.Atoli lends him some of her strength to go bring back Ovan,he flies straight up into the sky, where Ovan is falling down, deeper and deeper into the net.He tries to reach for his hand, but Ovan doesnt reach back,Haseo ends up hitting a barrier.Aura's voice can be heard, but Haseo doesnt care,he breaks his way through the barrier, pulling Ovan back.
Haseo and Atoli meet up at the chruch just like in the games, while Shino is there as well,Haseo and Atoli hold hands during this scene.
Afterwards we see Aina running through a field of flowers, she turns to wave at Ovan, who is watching her in the distance,he goes to her.
